Jostin Kitmang is an experienced research professional with interests in the economics of education and public economics. 

He is a Research Manager at J-PAL LAC and leads the implementation and evaluation of initiatives to accelerate students' learning in the Dominican Republic. Prior to this role, Jostin worked as a public servant in the education sector, where he led and supervised several nationwide education policies. He has also led analysis for projects on education, human resources, poverty, and microfinance for government and multilateral organizations as a Research Assistant at the Group for the Analysis of Development (GRADE), a Peruvian think tank. 

Jostin holds a bachelor's degree in economics from the Universidad de Piura in Peru.
