Dr. John Kim is a financial economist at Emory University, whose research interests span asset pricing and behavioral economics. He applies a variety of empirical methods to understand the consequences of various frictions, in particular parameter uncertainty and rational inattention, in markets with micro-level heterogeneity, especially the mutual fund industry. More recently, he has been working on the value of corporate social responsibility. Prior to joining Emory, John graduated with a PhD in Economics from Princeton University.
