David Cornejo is a first generation college student from El Salvador and currently works as a data consultant at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). There, he analyses social data for different challenges in the Latin America region including pensions, migrations, education, and inequality. Before working at the IDB, he worked at the International Organization for Migration (IOM) where he gained interested in migration as a social phenomenon and conducted primary studies about migration and its different causes and effects for the North of Central America. There, he also learned about conducting primary recollection, quality control, data analysis and reporting. Before that, he was an economist for the government in El Salvador studying the prices of medicine.
